I started playing hickories in march 2005.
Starting to play with these antiques were the best thing I have done since I started to play golf. It was like starting all over again. I have never had so much fun on the golfcourse since I was a kid.
A short while after my first round I wanted to restore my own clubs and now that´s all I do when I have time for it.
I have met a lot of extremely nice people, played a lot of very nice golf courses and my love for golf has grown a lot since I got my hands on the wooden shafts. All thanks to hickory!
My own set changes through time. When I restore clubs I try them and maybe I fall in love with a club. At the moment all my irons are forged by Tom Stewart from St Andrews.
