Owe Werner
My own playing sets are going through changes all the time. Not that I need clubs that perform better, its the search that excites me and the thrill to try newly restored ones. I like to match sets not only according to playability, but also to makers or other connections. At the moment all my irons are forged by Tom Stewart of St. Andrews. I set up my set for the day depending on course, conditions, form and mood. My shafts flex between stiff and extra stiff. My driver measures 336 ccm so you can't hit it without determination. I read somewhere about shaft dimesions on Bobby Jones Driver "Jeannie Deans". Then I checked my club and got the same results Such things are special to me.
